World Cup Fever

Sick of trying to explain “The Beautiful Game” to his American colleagues at Crown Worldwide Moving & Storage Simon Mason (graduate trainee from John mason International UK) decided to do something about it. In order to drum up some interest in “soccer” he organized a World Cup Sweep Stake were employees bought tickets and picked teams at random. If their team achieves 1st 2nd or 3rd place in the tournament this summer they win prizes, all while raising $300 for the CMSA Special Olympics fund.

Simon stated: “I thought it would be a nice opportunity to teach people a little bit about my national sport while raising money for a good cause. Unfortunately I picked Nigeria and Slovakia so I am not holding out much hope!”
