Relocation Nation is a social network dedicated to all of those
industries that are involved in the relocation process. From
realtors to mortgage brokers to movers to home inspectors,
Relocation Nation provides a forum for sharing ideas on how to
better serve our customers while acting as an educational resource
for the industry. Here are a few FAQ to help you get started:
I’ve become a member of the Nation, now what? As with
all social networks you need to participate within the community to
see the benefits. Here are some things you can do to get started:
1. Start blogging. You can write a personal blog under the My Page
tab and share your thoughts and opinions with the rest of the
community. When you submit a new posting, it will also be included
on the home page of the site. 2. Share industry related articles
and news that you find on the web. Under the NewsShare tab you can
post article links and comment on other. Your article will either
move up or down the queue, depending on how others in the community
rank its relevance. 3. Gain interest to upcoming events by posting
the details on the community’s events calendar, found under the
Participation tab. 4. Share news articles from your company under
in the Member Articles section. These items can be anything from
articles written by people within your company to press releases of
new developments at your company. 5. Start a discussion on a topic
that interests you in the Relocation Nation forum. What are
Relocation Nations terms of use? Integrity and honesty are
critical when posting on this site. At all times be sure the
information you are sharing or referencing is accurate and useful
to the community. Any libelous, untrue or slanderous statements
found in our site will be taken down immediately and will result in
expulsion from Relocation Nation. Please make sure that any
information you are posting is accurate and useful to the other
members within the community. Although most any business related
piece will have a mention or two about your company, please refrain
from posting items that are non-newsworthy or 100% self promoting.
Items that are found to have no value other than self promotion
will be removed from the site. If you are interested in
self-promotion to the Relocation Nation community members, check
out the FAQ below dealing with advertising. And most importantly,
spread and share your information with everyone. If you have a
strong belief about something, put it out there and get people
talking. Ideas will only catch on through discussion and thought.

Relocation Nation was started by Humboldt Storage and Moving, out
of Boston Massachusetts. Humboldt’s hope with establishing the
social network was to create a community where all of the different
facets of the relocation industry could come together and interact.
Our end goal is to facilitate better communication and relations
between the moving industry, the real estate industry, the mortgage
industry and others, thereby resulting in less stress for the
common customers we all serve.
