Hi everyone, this is Chris Saad at MoversSuite. Reading your discussion, I thought I would add my two cents. We have been working with Microsoft's CRM solution which is called Dynamics CRM. We have customized the application to fit the needs of the moving and storage industry, and if you don't use MoversSuite, you could still use the CRM package. If anyone is interested in learning more don't hesitate to email me at csaad@moverssuite.com.
According to their blog, Movers Suite is currently accepting ideas for future enhancements to their product but the closing date is Friday, May 22nd. Registered users will then be allowed to vote on CRM features that will be introduced this fall. http://moverssuite.com/blog/?p=341
At humboldt, our sales reps currently use Goldmine, which seems to be decent but does not connect into the software we run the business with.
We currently use a software called Mover's Suite to run our operations. It connects sales, customer service and operations together and is very user friendly. And, just recently we found out that they are currently developing a CRM product that is going to work in conjunction with the rest of the software. From what I have heard, you would be able to set up emails that would automatically go out based on, say, move date. I do not know a ton about it, but maybe someone else out there knows more...

OK, I'll start: what software do you all use to manage your customer relationships? Currently my firm is using nothing (unless you count paper files, which really means we're not properly managing our customer relationships), but I'm spearheading an initiative to get us using something. Any input?
